16.12.2019

At the ADR Conference in Cardiff (4th International Conference on Administrative Data Research, 9 - 11 December 2019) Nadine Weibrecht and Florian Endel presented some aspects of our latest research on data based methods and AI for Epidemiology. "ATC-ICD: enabling domain experts to explore and evaluate machine learning models estimating diagnoses from filled predictions" & "Evaluating ATC-ICD: Assessing the relationship between selected medication and diseases with machine learning" show our latest approaches to estimate diagnoses based on filled prescriptions reimbursed by a public health insurance institution. The result is a model that can provide probable diagnoses (ICD-10 coding) based on individual medication (ATC coding).
